http://www.yack.com Yack, Inc named Doug Wintz as Vice President and General Manager of Yack Media Services (YMS), effective July 30, 2001. As head of YMS, Wintz will oversee all of the Company's business syndication, licensing, sales and marketing of its products and services. “I'm extremely pleased that Doug is joining our team,” stated Steve Fredericks, Yack CEO and President. “ With this announcement, Yack has fully completed its transition to a true licensing and syndication business model. Doug is a pioneer in the online/ Internet field, and this wealth of experience, coupled with his entrepreneurial spirit, and vision will accelerate Yack's growth and further solidify its position as the industry leader in online guidance.” Wintz was recently Vice President Sales and Marketing at Interactive Marketing Inc. Prior to that he served as Vice President of Sales at Uproar. He has also held various senior management positions in old and new economy companies, including Condenet, Softbank and AT&T. His online experience was initiated at Prodigy during its initial launch in 1988.
